Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the laboratory management system in line with standard requirements.

You will assist with chemical testing projects, perform chemical analyses, and ensure documents are properly stored, retained, and disposed according to procedures. The role requires a Diploma and 1-2 years' experience, and night shift availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma required.
• 1-2 years of full-time working experience in chemical laboratory.
• Testing equipment familiarity.
• Willing to work night shifts.
• Have good laboratory practices.
• Compliance integrated ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001 EMS, ISO 45001 OH&S and ISO 13485 MDMS.

Responsibilities

• Assist on lab chemical testing projects.
• Carry out testing for chemical analysis.
• Ensure all documents and records are stored in appropriate location, protected to prevent damage and unintended alterations.
• Ensure all documents and records are kept within the retention period and disposed according to documented procedures.
• Assist to ensure all documents and records are controlled according to the laboratory management system and standard requirements.
• Perform other tasks that contribute to the smooth daily operation as referred to by memo or letters.
