Job summary

Ultimate Manufacturing Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Process Lead to manage special processes production lines and ensure timely delivery. You will steer process development for new products, including precision cleaning and metal treatment, and coordinate with NPI, Fixture Designers, and CADCAM Programmers to support DFMA.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, cycle-time estimations for costing, problem solving, and maintaining all chemical parameters within spec.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on experience coordinating multiple production lines smoothly.
• Adequate knowledge of people and task management.
• Proven ability to maintain chemistry parameters for various processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the special processes production lines to meet timelines.
• Lead the Process Development for new products, precision cleaning and metal treatment processes.
• Collaborate with NPI, Fixture Designer, CADCAM Programmer and Production to support DFMA.
• Support NPI feasibility studies and provide process cycle times for costing.
• Lead problem solving: define, analyze, implement corrective actions and communicate actions.
• Maintain all physical and chemical process parameters within SPEC.
• Analyze quality performance using statistical and analytical methods.
• Prepare weekly/monthly review reports and handle customer audits.
• Provide and update process documentation like FMEA, Control Plan, and Process Instructions.
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality requirements and monitor process costs.

Job description

Manage the special processes production lines to meet timelines.

Lead the Process Development for new products precision cleaning & metal treatment processes. Fixture Design, Anodization, Contamination Control, Pre-packaging, Inspection, etc.

Work together with NPI, Fixture Designer, CADCAM Programmer and Production to support new product development and proposal for DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).

Support NPI for new products feasibility study and provide Cleaning & Anodization Process cycle time for costing purpose.

Lead problem solving: defining the problem, identifying objectives, assessing risk, developing approach, analyzing results, implement corrective actions and effectively communicate those actions to all required personnel.

Maintain all the physical and chemical parameter of the process within SPEC.

Analyze quality performance using statistical & analytical tools and methods.

Preparing weekly/monthly review meeting reports.

Preparing and handling customer audits.

Provide & update process related documentations Like FMEA, Control Plan, Process Instruction.

Ensure that purchased material & component meets the quality requirements.

Monitoring process costs & makes projects to reduce the same.

Waste water treatment-neutralize, & reduction process.

Requirements

BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field.

Proven similar work experience as a Chemist or chemical engineering.

Hands-on experience coordinating multiple production lines smooth operations.

Adequate knowledge of people and task management.

Proven ability to complete maintain all chemistry parameter of various special processes.
