Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of food.
• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods to Chef.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out of stock items.
• Follow safety and security policies; report maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; move up to 25 pounds.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
