Job summary

Aposto Sdn Bhd is seeking a Chef de Partie to prepare, cook and present high quality dishes in line with the restaurant's SOP. You will support the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in menu development, staff training and daily kitchen operations at our Taman Tun Dr Ismail location.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years kitchen operations experience, the ability to run a section, and fluent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Shifts, weekends and public holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Ability to run a kitchen section and manage Commis Chefs.
• Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the restaurant's SOP.
• Assisting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in creating menu items and developing dishes.
• Assist with health, safety and food hygiene practices.
• Monitor portion control and waste management.
• Oversee stock/inventory including ordering, receiving and product maintenance.
• Train and manage Commis Chefs and ensure smooth daily operations.
