Job summary

JWC ACADEMY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Chef de Partie (CDP) to oversee back-of-house operations in Johor Bahru. You will manage the BOH roster, monitor food costs, and train staff while ensuring adherence to hygiene, safety, and SOP standards.

You will support the Head Chef with new dish development, standardization, and cost accounting, and lead routine R&D sign-offs to guarantee consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience working as a Commis, Demi-CDP, or Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Manage daily roster and reasonably allocate labor costs for the BOH team
• Analyze and control food costs to ensure gross profit margin meets preset targets
• Lead systematic training for new employees and execute technical checklist sign-offs
• Assist Head Chef in new dish R&D, standardization, and cost accounting
• Ensure BOH fully complies with local hygiene, fire, and other regulations in daily operations
• Execute new dish testing assigned by R&D department or Head Chef, ensuring accurate SOP implementation
