JLL is seeking a Chargeman A4 to lead a team of technicians and oversee building services at Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. The role involves repairs, preventive maintenance, and contractor supervision.

Requirements include a Chargeman A4 certificate and at least 3 years’ experience in facilities management, with strong safety compliance and leadership abilities. Candidates should be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of maintenance.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment.
• Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure building services and store equipment are in good condition.
• Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance work in accordance with the plan.
• Monitor third party contractors and ensure adherence to safe and legal routines.
• Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy.
• Maintain equipment according to risk assessment standards and act quickly on issues.
• Maintain engineering store area and plant rooms for tidiness and safe access.
• Perform routine inspections every 3 hours, monitor contractors, perform minor troubleshooting.
• Maintain all electrical and operations equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure the building services and store equipment’s are working in a good condition.

• Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance work in accordance with the plan

• Monitor third party contractors and ensure adherence to the safe and legal routines

• Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy

• Maintain equipment according to the risk assessment standards and act quickly on any issues

• Maintain engineering store area and plant rooms to ensure tidiness and safe access

• Perform routine inspection every 3 hours, Monitor contractor, Perform minor trouble shooting

• Maintain all electrical and operations equipment.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Chargeman A4 Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of maintenance and services.

• Customer oriented, a team player, able to work independently and good interpersonal & leadership skills

• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment

• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English

• Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends
