Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead a team of Technicians at an on-site facility in Senawang, Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring building services and data center equipment run smoothly, with preventive maintenance and quick issue response.

Ideal candidates will have a Chargeman A4 certificate, 3+ years in facilities management, and strong leadership, communication, and multilingual capabilities in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe, legal routine checks per Health and Safety Policy.
• Maintain equipment per risk assessments and respond quickly to issues.
• Keep engineering areas and plant rooms tidy with safe access.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of Technicians to ensure the building services and data center equipment's are working in a good conditions


• Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance work in accordance with the plan


• Monitor third party contractors and ensure adherence to the safe and legal routines


• Conduct safe and legal routine checks as per Health and Safety Policy


• Maintain equipment according to the risk assessment standards and act quickly on any issues


• Maintain engineering area and plant rooms to ensure tidiness and safe access

• Uninterrupted site operations


• 100% compliance of site to key client and APM audits


• Meet or exceed Client Satisfaction survey targets

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Chargeman A4 Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission)


• Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management or building operations with knowledge of maintenance and services.


• Customer oriented, a team player, able to work independently and good interpersonal & leadership skills


• Able to work under pressure and in a fast changing environment


• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English


• Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends
