• Recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification (A1 or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in electrical engineering with supervisory/leadership exposure
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings and blueprints
• Understanding of IEC standards and Malaysian electrical regulations
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills
• Proficiency with electrical testing/diagnostic equipment
• Valid driving licence preferred
• Experience with project management software and MS Office is advantageous

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chargeman A1 to join AHM Dynamic Enterprise in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial leadership role within our Electrical/Electronic Engineering operations. As Chargeman A1, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical engineering activities on site, ensuring all work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency. This role is integral to the successful delivery of our engineering projects and the overall operational excellence of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

Supervising and directing electrical engineering teams on site to ensure effective project execution and timely completion

Conducting regular inspections and testing of electrical systems and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards

Monitoring work quality and adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations across all electrical activities

Liaising between site teams, management and clients to ensure clear communication and coordination of engineering works

Preparing and maintaining accurate technical documentation, work reports and records relating to electrical installations and maintenance

Identifying potential safety hazards and implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment

Training and mentoring junior electrical staff and apprentices on best practices and technical competencies

Assisting in planning and scheduling electrical engineering work to optimise resource allocation and project timelines

Responding to urgent electrical maintenance issues and coordinating emergency repairs as required

What we're looking for

Recognised qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification (A1 or equivalent level)

Minimum of 5-7 years' experience working in electrical engineering, with demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, maintenance and troubleshooting

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, technical drawings and blueprints

In-depth understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations (such as IEC standards and Malaysian electrical regulations)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure

Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment

Valid driving licence (preferred)

Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office applications (advantageous)
