Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites fresh graduates to join our litigation team, offering direct mentorship from the firm's partner on civil matters, including mediation, case management, hearings, and trials, whether via eReview, Zoom, or in person in Klang Valley.

You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings and submissions with guidance, assist in compiling documents, and perform general admin duties to support the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Law with Honours required.
• Own transport advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in civil litigation matters including mediation, case management, hearings and trials, independently or in a team, via eReview, Zoom/Skype or in person within or outside Klang Valley.
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft correspondences, pleadings and submissions with guidance from Partners.
• Assist in compiling documents and perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying, binding and scanning.

This position is suitable for passionate new graduates who seek direct involvement and guidance from the partner of firm as their master in litigation matter. Where the duties are as follow:

• To be involved in handling and assisting in civil litigation matters, including mediation, case management, hearings, and trials independently or in a team, whether conducted via eReview, Zoom/Skype, or in person (within or outside of the Klang Valley);
• Conducting thorough legal research, drafting correspondences, cause papers and submissions with guidance of Partners
• Assisting in compiling of documents
• Performing general administrative role such as photocopying, binding and scanning of documents

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Possess valid Bachelor Degree in Law with Hons
• Candidate with own transport will be advantage
• Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Highly motivated, hardworking, responsible, and possessing good work ethics
• Willing to learn, committed, proactive, and having a positive attitude
