Job summary

Hello Chai is a Malaysian fusion food and beverage brand opening its first café. We are seeking café all-rounders to join our small team. Both roles are full time, 6 days per week with 1 rest day per week (rotational). This is a small café and everyone does a bit of everything.

Base salary RM 1,600-2,000 (junior) and RM 2,200-2,800 (senior) with EPF & SOCSO, annual and medical leave, monthly performance bonuses, and staff perks. Training provided on all recipes and equipment as Hello Chai grows.

Qualifications

• Love for food and drinks; reliable and punctual.
• Good with people; warm and genuine.
• Willing to learn and be trained; attention to detail is crucial.
• Experience brewing chai or South Asian teas is a plus.
• Cafe, F&B or barista experience is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Brew and prepare chai varieties and other drinks.
• Operate blender, tea boilers and maintain bases.
• Serve customers at the counter and handle orders.
• Take payments via POS, QR and cash; explain menu.
• Keep counters, equipment and displays clean and stocked.
• Close the café and prep for the next day.
