Job summary

Asia Recruit in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a CCTV Surveillance Designer to plan and design CCTV systems for hubs, warehouses, and critical areas, including site assessments and equipment specifications. You will manage end-to-end CCTV installation projects, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, monitor live systems, and ensure compliance with security SOPs and legal requirements.

Strong technical understanding of IP camera systems, NVRs, VMS platforms, and basic networking, plus reading

Qualifications

Experience in CCTV planning or installation is preferred.
Reading technical drawings and developing surveillance layouts is a plus.
Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willingness to travel between hubs.

Responsibilities

Plan and design CCTV surveillance systems for hubs, warehouses, and critical areas, including site assessments, layout creation, and equipment specifications.
Manage end-to-end CCTV installation projects, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant execution.
Monitor and maintain live surveillance systems, performing preventive checks, troubleshooting issues, and recommending upgrades when needed.
Ensure compliance with internal security SOPs, legal requirements, and maintain accurate documentation for all surveillance assets and footage.
Liaise with vendors and stakeholders to maintain service quality, evaluate performance, and support procurement of suitable security solutions.
