Job summary

Al-Ikhsan Sports Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a CCTV Surveillance Operator responsible for monitoring live and recorded footage to detect incidents and prevent theft. You will maintain equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure compliance across outlets.

The role requires preparing daily reports, backing up incident data, and coordinating with the Team Leader for timely resolution. Based at outlets with on-site duties in Selangor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining CCTV surveillance equipment.
• Ability to monitor live and recorded footage and report incidents.
• Strong awareness of outlet compliance and policy enforcement.
• Proficient in basic troubleshooting and hardware handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reports for Team Leader.
• Monitor activities of assigned outlets for policy compliance.
• Spread awareness and disciplinary culture at outlet level.
• Troubleshoot CCTV issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Back up incident data and prepare CCTV findings reports.
• Burn data to CD/DVD and send to Operations Department.

Responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior and contacting the authorities when necessary to prevent intrusion/theft of company properties.

ACCOUNTABILITIES /KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitoring

• Prepare daily report and submit to Team Leader to compile.
• Monitors activities of assigned Outlets and to ensure compliance and enforcement of company policies.
• Spread awareness and disciplinary culture in Outlet level.
• Do troubleshooting if there is problem related to CCTV at Outlet.
• Inspection of CCTV / alarm equipment during yearly visit for preventive maintenance.
• Attend to Outlet that has CCTV issues.
• Check and detect the factor of CCTV issue.
• Do technical job such as pull and connect cable; put the hardware at the right position.
• Make sure job has been done on time.

3. Backup Data

• Backup incident data from Outlet / HQ for cases or as instructed by management.
• Prepare a CCTV finding report case and submit to Team Leader for compile
• Burn data in CD / DVD and send the data (CD) to Operation Department.
