Job summary

BIG Pharmacy Healthcare Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Category Executive (Open to Fresh Graduate) to manage product lines and supplier relationships in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will source and evaluate products, negotiate promotions, coordinate inventory planning, and work with vendors and internal teams to meet sales and margin targets. Fresh graduates with a Diploma and keen commercial sense are encouraged to apply; experience in rehab products is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Studies or related fields.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years experience in related field considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of rehab products is beneficial.
• Able to buy and handle merchandising tasks; strong numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and evaluating attractive product lines to meet market demand.
• Negotiate contracts and promotions with vendors to secure best deals.
• Coordinate with internal departments on inventory planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with line managers during planning and purchasing processes with suppliers.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop contingency plans for assortment.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors.
• Meet goals for sales, margin, income and inventory levels.
• Ensure pricing and promotional strategies support merchandise objectives.
• Perform other duties to meet business needs in a fast-paced environment.
