Job summary

Ria Money Transfer in Malaysia is seeking a frontline Cashier in Retail Operations to process transactions, answer inquiries, and support daily operations in line with company procedures.

The role involves handling money transfers, currency exchange, verifying customer information, balancing cash, and maintaining accurate records while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with SPM and above.
• Some computer knowledge with ability to use MS Word and Excel.
• Cash handling experience is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process Ria’s products including money transfers, money orders, and currency exchange.
• Verify or enter customer information accurately into our systems.
• Assist customers with inquiries about services, cancellations, or other Ria locations.
• Identify problems or complaints and propose solutions or escalate to management.
• Balance cash register and prepare cash for bank deposits.
• Prepare daily transaction records and perform other duties as assigned.

About This Role

As a Cashier, in Retail Operations, your role will be providing frontline customer service by processing transactions, handling inquiries, ensuring accurate records, and supporting daily operations in compliance with company procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all of Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
• Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
• Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations.
• Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or elevate to the management team.
• Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services, and policies.
• Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
• Prepare your daily transactions record.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.

Position Requirements

• Fresh graduate with SPM and above
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Some computer knowledge with ability to use MS Word and Excel.
• Cash handling experience is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
