Job summary

HINO Q AUTO SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced vehicle technician/branch supervisor in Johor Bahru to lead hands-on inspection, diagnosis, servicing, and repairs across multiple branches.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, recommending repair solutions, and maintaining workshop quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include guiding technicians, carrying out repairs, performing preventive maintenance, testing repaired vehicles, and reporting major issues to management.

Qualifications

• Hands-on inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and technical issues accurately and recommend repairs.
• Perform servicing, repair and replacement of vehicle components as required.
• Troubleshoot vehicle problems and identify safety concerns.
• Guide and provide technical support when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of vehicles.

• Maintain tools, equipment and cleanliness of the workshop.
• Assist with other workshop duties and repair-related tasks.
• Report major vehicle issues or repair findings to the supervisor/management.

Working time: 9am to 6pm (with a day per week)

Diagnose mechanical and technical issues accurately and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

Carry out servicing, repair and replacement of vehicle components when required.

Troubleshoot vehicle problems and ensure all repairs are completed properly and efficiently.

Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical issues and safety concerns.

Ensure all repair work meets the required quality and safety standards.

Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing according to vehicle requirements.

Test vehicles after repair to ensure they are in proper working condition.

Maintain proper tools, equipment and cleanliness of the workshop.

Assist with other workshop duties and repair-related tasks when required.

Guide and provide technical support when necessary.

Report major vehicle issues or repair findings to the supervisor/management.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in car repair.

Able to manage at least two branches.
