Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a reliable Baker / Cake Production Assistant to join our cake business in Taman OUG. Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, and interns are encouraged to apply.

You will prepare, bake, assemble and finish cakes, check orders, decorate and pack for delivery, coordinate with drivers, and keep the kitchen clean and safe. Training is provided and fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Previous baking or cake-making experience preferred but not essential.
• Training can be provided to suitable candidates.
• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Good attention to detail and time-management.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in cake decorating is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates, students and interns welcome to apply.

• Prepare personalised messages and other customer requirements.
• Pack cakes securely for delivery or customer collection.
• Arrange and coordinate deliveries with drivers.
• Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Monitor ingredients and inform management when stock needs to be replenished.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with other bakery and kitchen duties when required.

Working Hours and Benefits

• Full-time working hours: 45 hours per week.
