About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Café Barista to join our team at WARZUQNI Food Industries in Putrajaya. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of our café operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences whilst preparing high-quality beverages and food items. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring every visitor leaves with a memorable experience. Your expertise in espresso-based drinks, attention to detail, and commitment to service excellence will directly contribute to our café's reputation and customer loyalty within the Account & Relationship Management focus of our sales operations.

What you\'ll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based beverages, specialty coffees, and other hot and cold drinks to customers

Operating and maintaining café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, steamers, and other brewing apparatus

Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations based on customer preferences

Managing point-of-sale systems and processing payments with accuracy

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the café, including equipment sanitisation and workspace organisation

Building and nurturing customer relationships through friendly, professional interactions and personalised service

Preparing simple food items and pastries as required

Managing stock levels and communicating inventory needs to management

Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during peak service times

Adhering to food safety and health and safety regulations at all times

What we\'re looking for

Barista certification or equivalent professional qualification in coffee preparation (or willingness to obtain certification)

Proven experience working as a Barista in a busy café or hospitality environment

Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing methods, and espresso techniques

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage customers in a warm and professional manner

Attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation

Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Reliability and punctuality with a positive attitude towards work

Familiarity with café POS systems and basic numeracy skills

Food hygiene certification or willingness to complete training

Preferred: Experience in relationship management or customer account handling roles
