Job summary

TNL Precision Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a responsible CAD Drafter to join our sheet metal fabrication team. You will prepare and modify 2D technical drawings in AutoCAD, converting physical samples into CAD files for manufacturing and assembly.

You will review drawings for correct dimensions, tolerances and fabrication details, and coordinate with production and QC teams to resolve fabrication issues, ensuring the latest approved drawings are released to production.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D technical drawings based on customer specs.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of dimensions and tolerances.
• Ability to interpret customer samples and convert to CAD drawings.
• Collaborative mindset to work with production and QC teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD based on customer requirements and specifications.

• Coordinate with production and QC teams to clarify technical drawings and resolve fabrication issues.
• Check drawing accuracy and identify potential manufacturing difficulties before production.
• Maintain proper drawing documentation, file organization and revision control.
• Ensure the latest approved drawings are released to production to minimize errors and rework.
• Perform other drawing-related tasks as assigned by management.
