Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. is seeking a Mechanical Drafting Technician to produce engineering documents (3D & 2D drawings), illustrations, and assembly drawings per specifications and user manuals.

You will collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into drawings and maintain the document database for up-to-date records. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of CAD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with CAD software and ability to work in a team.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is required for this position.
• Required skills include AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and 3ds Max.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing engineering documents (3D/2D drawings, illustrations, assembly drawings).
• Translate design concepts and calculations into technical drawings with engineers/managers.
• Maintain database to keep drawings and documents up to date.
• Perform quality inspections at critical production stages and before delivery.

Job description

• To assist in producing Engineering documents (3D & 2D drawings, technical illustrations, assembly and other related drawings according to specification, user manual, etc.) and ensure they are completed within the required time frames and are up to date.
• Work closely with engineers / managers to translate their design concepts and calculation into technical drawings and assist in coordinating projects.
• Responsible for database maintenance to ensure documents and drawings are up to date and relevant by utilizing drafting resources and software;
• Perform quality inspections across critical stages of production and before delivery.
• To work as a team.

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
