Job summary

KITSUMETAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a junior mechanical drafting assistant in Johor Bahru. You will prepare, revise and update AutoCAD drawings and assist in preparing production drawings and related documentation, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.

You will also prepare BOM and cutting lists, coordinate with the production team, and support production planning and scheduling. Fresh graduates are welcome, with learning opportunities in CNC processes and sheet metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or related field is required.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication such as laser cutting, bending and welding is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to learn CNC programming and production planning.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
