Job summary

LUX INDUSTRIES SDN BHD in Selangor is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. You will produce accurate technical drawings and documentation to guide manufacturing and construction processes.

You will work with engineers to interpret sketches, ensure drawings meet standards, and maintain filing systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks and a Diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of CAD drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, detailed technical drawings based on engineer specifications.
• Create assembly and component drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and client requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy before submission.
• Make revisions based on engineer feedback and design changes.
• Maintain organized digital filing systems and version control.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers to clarify specs.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation packages and project submissions.
• Keep up to date with CAD software and industry best practices.
