Job summary

JALEX GROUP of COMPANIES is seeking CAD Designers for interior fit-out and architecture to translate conceptual drawings into detailed shop drawings and construction drawings.

You will review drawings from project managers to ensure they conform to shop drawings and meet client requirements. Prepare as-built drawings and work to tight submission schedules. Advanced AutoCAD skills and BIM knowledge are advantageous; 3–5 years in related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Draughtsman/Architecture/Interior Design Certificate with AUTOCAD.
• Advanced AUTOCAD skills and MS Office (Excel, Word) or other graphic presentation.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and detailing is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of working experience in related field is required.
• Advantage if the candidate possess BIM knowledge and skill.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, translate and prepare conceptual drawings into detailed shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Review sketches, drawings, specifications and site information to ensure conformance with shop drawings.
• Ensure shop drawings submissions are clear and meet client requirements.
• Meet tight submission schedules.
• Prepare as-built drawings for various projects.
