Job summary

Temokin Development on-site project team is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee civil and structural works. You will ensure all activities follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and standards, coordinating daily operations with subcontractors and suppliers.

You will monitor progress against the project schedule, conduct inspections for workmanship and quality, promote safety, and prepare progress reports. Strong QA/QC experience is essential.

• Supervise and monitor all civil and structural construction activities on-site.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and relevant standards.
• Coordinate daily site operations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct daily site inspections to verify workmanship and compliance with quality requirements.
• Identify construction issues and propose practical solutions to minimise delays.

Quality Control

• Ensure all construction works comply with the Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements.
• Inspect reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, structural steel works, masonry, and other structural elements before commencement of subsequent activities.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and ensure timely rectification of defects or non-conformance.
• Verify materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications.

Coordination

• Liaise with Project Manager, consultants, Resident Engineer (RE), Clerk of Works (COW), subcontractors, and relevant authorities on technical and construction matters.
• Coordinate with M&E teams to ensure proper sequencing and integration of works.
• Attend coordination meetings and site progress meetings.
• Ensure subcontractors understand construction requirements and project expectations.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all site activities comply with OSHA requirements, DOSH regulations, CIDB guidelines, and company Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure workers comply with site safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in safety inspections and toolbox meetings.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor daily work progress against the approved construction programme.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Report delays, site issues, resource shortages, and construction risks to the Project Manager.
• Assist in planning manpower and construction resources.

Documentation

• Maintain proper site records, inspection reports, material records, and site instructions.
• Record completed work quantities for progress claims.
• Ensure all construction documentation is properly filed and updated.
• Assist in preparing as-built information where required.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure good housekeeping practices are maintained at the construction site.
• Monitor subcontractor productivity and workmanship.
• Assist in resolving technical issues encountered during construction.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
