Job summary

Elsa Talent is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing for materials, equipment, and services. You will ensure timely delivery, commercial competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities include RFx processes, negotiation, supplier evaluation, and contract management across multi-site projects, leveraging SAP for requisitions and PO tracking. This role emphasizes strong planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree; engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years in supply chain/procurement for project/operations environments.
• 1–2 years managing sourcing and procurement of assigned categories/packages from RFx to delivery.
• End-to-end procurement including RFx, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, expediting and close-out.
• Knowledge of industrial products and procurement specifications, including bulk materials, engineered items, spares and services, supplier capabilities and lead times.
• Strong contract management, terms review, risk identification and negotiations; vessel chartering contracts an advantage.
• Technical understanding to interpret specifications/datasheets and support evaluations with Eng/QA teams.
• Vendor management and market intelligence capabilities; knowledge of local/global supplier markets.
• Senior Buyer experience in large-scale/international projects preferred.
• Site/field experience such as vendor inspection, commissioning, shutdown support advantageous.
• Strong planning and delivery focus to meet project milestones.
• Proficient in procurement systems and reporting tools such as SAP for managing requisitions/POs, tracking status, documentation.

Job description

• To manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for assigned materials, equipment, services and/or packages, ensuring timely delivery, commercial competitiveness and compliance with project and procurement requirements.

2. Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; Engineering or related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in supply chain and/or procurement, supporting project and/or operations environments such as energy, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure.
• 1–2 years' experience managing sourcing and procurement of assigned categories/packages from RFx through award and delivery.
• Experience in end-to-end procurement, including RFx, bid evaluation, negotiation, award, expediting and close-out.
• Good knowledge of industrial products and procurement specifications, including bulk materials, engineered items, spares and services, as well as supplier capabilities and lead times.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills, including review of terms and conditions, risk identification and commercial negotiations. Experience with vessel chartering contracts is an advantage.
• Sound technical understanding with the ability to interpret technical specifications and datasheets and support technical/commercial evaluations with Engineering and QA teams.
• Strong vendor management and market intelligence capabilities, including supplier sourcing, benchmarking and knowledge of local and global supplier markets.
• Experience with large-scale and/or international projects, including working with global suppliers and multi-site stakeholders, is preferred for Senior Buyer roles.
• Site/field experience such as vendor inspection, commissioning, shutdown support or operations interface is an advantage.
• Strong planning and delivery focus, with the ability to manage procurement priorities, schedules and lead times while resolving issues to meet project milestones.
• Proficient in procurement systems and reporting tools, such as SAP, for managing requisitions/POs, tracking procurement status and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
