Job summary

CPI (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable Senior Designer to translate product drawings into feasible tooling designs and coordinate with customers on DFM discussions. The role requires CAD/CAM experience and GD&T knowledge within a manufacturing setting in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Responsibilities include daily design tasks, assisting in new product DFMs, and supporting project teams with product design and tooling drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree holder.
• Experience in CAD/CAM is an advantage.
• Some GD&T knowledge.
• Able to communicate, read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• To carry out design work based on product drawing/ diagram.
• To complete all job assigned by the Senior Designer on daily basis.
• To prepare new products DFM assigned by Senior Designer for customer discussion
• To attend customers DFM meeting for product design discussion
