Job summary

Avnet in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an internal support specialist to bridge the America/Europe design region with the Asia sales team. You will help Asia sales transfer overseas design business and coordinate with regional pricing, quotes, and supplier management to align pricing strategies.

You will work with sales to resolve migration issues, monitor transfer project status, and provide proactive support to win Design Registration projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Foundational knowledge of disciplines, industry practices and standards.
• Able to work independently with some supervision.
• Related experience in electronics industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with counterparts in America and Europe to obtain competitive Design Registration price.
• Collaborate with Pricing & Quote and Supplier Product Management to align prices with local suppliers.
• Cooperate with sales to resolve migration business issues.
• Track transfer project status and support sales to win the Design Registration project.
• Handle daily and weekly tasks of assigned accounts via global system.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and procedures.
• Communicate timely with regional counterparts; make decisions and solve issues independently.

Education

Work Experience

• Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.
