Job summary

Monee is seeking a Data/BI Analyst in Kuala Lumpur to translate business questions into analytical solutions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define reporting requirements, deliver accurate reports, and build dashboards using SQL, Google Data Studio, and Google Sheets.

The role emphasizes data extraction, cleaning, and automation to drive operational efficiency. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in BI or data analytics, with proficiency in Excel and SQL, and knowledge of Python

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in data-related field.
• 2–3 years in BI or data analytics; fintech/payments experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Knowledge of Python or R for analytics and modeling.
• Strong analytical, visualization, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or similar roles, experience in Financial Services, Fintech or Payments industry is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data extraction and analysis is mandatory
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analytics and modeling is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to structurally present data findings to internal stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
