Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is partnering with a global supply chain leader to digitalize divisions and drive cost reductions, higher efficiency and streamlined operations. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and BI solutions to meet business needs across the enterprise.

You will design and maintain ODI workflows, develop OBIEE repositories, dashboards, and reports, and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure reliable data delivery and high performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or BI roles.
• Extensive ODI experience designing and deploying data integration solutions.
• Deep OBIEE and RPD modeling expertise.
• Advanced SQL for data extraction and optimization.
• Solid understanding of ETL, BI architecture, and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

key responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

• BI & Analytics: Develop, configure, and manage OBIEE repositories (RPD), interactive dashboards, and reports to meet business needs.

• Database Management: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures.

• Data Modeling: Design and implement relational and dimensional data models for data warehousing.

• Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in ETL processes and database queries; implement solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.

• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other engineers to gather requirements and deliver accurate data solutions.

requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of proven professional experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or in a similar data-centric role.

• Oracle ODI: Extensive, hands‑on experience designing and deploying data integration solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

• OBIEE / RPD: Deep expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and RPD (Repository) modeling.

• SQL: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and performance tuning.

• ETL & BI Core Concepts: Strong foundational knowledge of ETL processes, Business Intelligence architecture, and data warehousing principles.

nice to haves:

• Familiarity with other Oracle database technologies and PL/SQL.

• Experience with cloud platforms or modern data visualization tools is a plus.
