Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using SQL, Python, and dbt within a Databricks environment.

You will collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models, optimize performance, and ensure data quality across reporting layers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a heavily technical Data Analyst role.
• Advanced proficiency in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries.
• Deep, hands-on experience using dbt for data modeling, testing, and deployment.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Proven experience working with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) to handle large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Large-Scale Data Management: Process, transform, and optimize massive datasets efficiently within a Databricks environment.
