Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Business Development Manager for our live streaming platform in Kuala Lumpur. You will recruit and onboard live streaming agencies and hosts, build strong agency partnerships, and provide daily operational support to drive activation and retention.

You'll analyze performance metrics, monitor market trends, and propose growth strategies and platform enhancements. Fluency in English is required, and Mandarin ability is an advantage to support Mandarin-speaking

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in business development or related fields.
• Experience as platform staff, host, agency administrator/operator, agency owner, or host recruiter is an added advantage.

Business Development Manager (Live Streaming Platform)

Location: KL Gateway, Jalan Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur (Fully On-site)

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM or 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key responsibilities

Recruit and onboard new live streaming agencies and hosts through multiple sourcing channels.

Build strong relationships with agency partners and provide daily operational support.

Understand agency needs and recommend growth strategies, operational improvements, and platform solutions.

Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics to improve agency activation, engagement, and retention.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and creator industry developments.

Gather agency feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve platform operations and user experience.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Business Development, Live Streaming, Voice Chat, Social Entertainment, Talent Management, or Agency Operations.

Experience as a platform staff, host, agency administrator/operator, agency owner, or host recruiter is an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for the digital entertainment and creator economy industry.

Fluent in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage to support Mandarin-speaking agency partners and stakeholders.
