Business Development Manager – Bristol

Blue Legal has partnered with an award-winning national law firm that is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join one of their UK offices. The role involves contributing to the implementation and development of marketing, business development projects, and sales opportunities within the firm’s growing public sector team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking development in a firm that offers flexibility and a positive culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement, and review Business Development and client strategy plans regularly.
  • Maintain and manage the sales pipeline to support the progression and conversion of opportunities.
  • Develop credible marketing collateral, proposals, bids, and pitch presentations.
  • Design and execute event programs, both in-person and virtual, to engage clients and prospects.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key clients within practice areas and support Client Relationship Partners in managing relevant client frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the campaigns team to develop thought leadership campaigns to enhance the firm’s reputation.
  • Support the communications team in promoting the public and digital sector teams through the firm’s website, social media, email marketing, PR, and internal communications.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in building a firm’s reputation through marketing communications and campaigns.
  • Background in professional services, preferably legal.
  • Experience with various marketing technologies.
