Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development, sales or new business acquisition roles.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and close deals.
• Strategic thinking capability with the ability to develop and execute business development plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, competitor analysis and industry trend analysis
• Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing business relationships
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and partnerships
• Conduct presentations and pitches to potential clients, articulating the value proposition of our products and services
• Negotiate terms, conditions and contracts with prospective partners and clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing and operations to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
• Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to inform business development strategy
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Track and report on business development metrics, pipeline progress and revenue forecasts
