Job summary

PropNex Realty Sdn Bhd, including PropNex Cheras, seeks a seasoned Project & Development professional to identify and source strategic development opportunities across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors in Malaysia. You will build networks with agents, developers, landowners, and other industry contacts, guiding opportunities from sourcing through feasibility and acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source potential project opportunities for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and other strategic developments.
• Build and maintain strong networks with property agents, consultants, developers, and industry contacts.
• Proactively engage landowners and relevant parties to explore acquisition and development opportunities.
• Conduct preliminary assessments of potential project, including location, project size, asking price, current use, accessibility, surrounding developments, and development potential.
• Assess market demand, potential product positioning, and basic financial and commercial viability.
• Prepare project opportunity reports, feasibility summaries, and recommendations for Management review.
• Develop and maintain relationships with developers, agents, property consultants, government-related parties, and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, negotiations, and discussions with relevant parties.
• Follow up on potential deals and ensure opportunities progress within agreed timelines.
• Represent the company professionally in all external engagements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project opportunities and negotiations.
• Assist in preparing project acquisition proposals, investment papers, business cases, and Management presentations.
• Support negotiations by providing relevant market and commercial information.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Project Development, and other relevant departments throughout the acquisition process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all project opportunities and negotiations.
• Research property market trends, project values, transaction activities, upcoming developments, and emerging growth areas.
• Identify locations with potential for future property development.
• Monitor competitor developments and market activities to support project acquisition strategies.
• Provide Management with regular market updates and insights on potential opportunities.
• Manage and track project opportunities from sourcing and preliminary assessment through feasibility, due diligence, negotiation, and acquisition or development decisions.
• Provide regular updates on the progress of potential project owners deals.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and completion of required actions.
• Support Management in expanding and strengthening the company's project bank.
