Job summary

WAKOMAS Chemical Sdn Bhd is expanding its Commercial Division, seeking motivated Business Development Executives for Distribution across Malaysia. The roles involve promoting petrochemical and industrial products to manufacturers and industrial customers, building strong relationships, and driving sales targets.

You'll identify new business opportunities, coordinate quotations, and support marketing activities to strengthen market presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in sales, marketing, or related field.
• Fresh graduates with strong passion for sales are warmly welcomed to apply.
• Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and presentation tools.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and business-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell petrochemical commodity products to manufacturers and industrial customers.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers and business partners.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business leads and market opportunities within the Malaysian industrial sector.
• Conduct customer follow-ups, quotations, and sales coordination activities.
• Support marketing and promotional activities to strengthen company market presence.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and sales-related documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth sales and operational processes.
• Assist management with ad-hoc assignments and business initiatives when required.
