Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies to maximize business potential through the Agency channel.
• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios to improve productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on risk acceptance within approved authority limits.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to strengthen and expand the agency force.
• Organize relationship enhancement activities to engage agents and partners.
• Conduct agency portfolio segmentation to identify growth opportunities.
• Review and monitor product portfolios for competitiveness and relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and Company guidelines.
• Ensure activities comply with regulatory guidelines and Company policies.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at RHB Insurance Berhad. In this role, you’ll support business growth and profitability through effective management of agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios. You will also play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening agency networks, and driving strategic marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support the Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies to maximize business potential through the Agency channel.
• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios to improve productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on the acceptance of new risks within the approved authority limits set by Head Office.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to strengthen and expand the agency force.
• Organize relationship enhancement activities to maintain strong engagement with agents and business partners.
• Conduct agency portfolio segmentation and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Review and monitor product portfolios to ensure competitiveness and market relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop structured marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and Company guidelines.
• Ensure all business activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory guidelines and Company policies.
