Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in formulating and implementing marketing strategies for the Agency channel.
• Manage and grow agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios for productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with underwriters on acceptance of new risks within authority limits.
• Drive Agency Recruitment Programmes to expand the agency force.
• Organize relationship-enhancement activities with agents and partners.
• Conduct agency portfolio segmentation and identify growth opportunities.
• Review and monitor product portfolios for competitiveness and relevance.
• Identify market opportunities and develop structured marketing strategies to expand market share.
• Coordinate surveys and risk management programmes for Banca Retail clients.
• Monitor compliance with Credit Control policies, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
• Ensure all business activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at RHB Insurance Berhad (Ipoh Branch). In this role, you’ll support business growth and profitability through effective management of agency, RHB Group, and direct business portfolios. You will also play a key role in expanding market share, strengthening agency networks, and driving strategic marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.
