We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to support customer acquisition, manage OEM/private label projects, and drive business growth. This role requires someone who enjoys working with customers, coordinating cross-functional teams, solving problems, and taking ownership of projects from enquiry to commercialization.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new OEM/private label business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage assigned OEM projects from enquiry to commercial launch.
- Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, QA, Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Logistics) to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Prepare quotations, product proposals, and support commercial discussions.
- Follow up on customer enquiries, samples, quotations, and project progress.
- Conduct market research and identify potential customers and business opportunities.
- Prepare weekly project updates, sales reports, and business forecasts.
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and factory visits when required.
- Identify issues, propose solutions, and drive actions to completion.
About you
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related fields
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, account management, or FMCG/food manufacturing.
- Experience in OEM/private label, B2B sales, or food manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders)
- Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend practical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with good follow-up and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused with a commercial mindset.
- Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fresh graduates with strong internship experience and excellent learning attitude may also be considered.1–3 years of experience in FMCG sales and OEM business development.
