Job summary

BH Electronics in Bayan Lepas, Penang seeks a dynamic Business Development Specialist to expand sales and build new product lines. You will conduct market research, identify opportunities, and cultivate strong customer relationships for growth.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s, multi-faceted communication (English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia), travel within the territory, and the ability to work independently while delivering results.

Qualifications

• At least Professional Certificate/Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to travel within the sales territory.
• Experience in Business Development or Marketing preferred (2 years).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic business plans to expand sales and activities for growth and new product-business development.
• Conduct market research and identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with new customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, client services and activities for growth and new product-business development.
• Meet customer satisfaction by providing efficient customer service including handling and follow up enquiries, quotation, payment monitoring etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to speak English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to expand customer base and increase sales.
• Able to travel throughout sales territory.
• Must be computer literate.
• Be creative in handling customer enquiries & ultimately generate more sales revenue.
• Self-confident, outgoing, friendly and likes to meet people.
• Posses' good interpersonal skill, customer oriented with good presentation skill.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and well organized.
• Open minded and ever ready to accept challenges given.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, matured, dedicated and responsible.
• Able to work independently and under pressure with high degree of confidentiality.
