Job summary

PHYTO SCIENCE SDN BHD in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor is seeking a proactive Business Development Assistant to support our Business Development Department, particularly in social media management, content coordination and day-to-day business activities.

You will manage social media platforms, coordinate with designers, prepare posts, monitor inquiries, assist events and research market trends in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or other content creation/editing tools will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Creative, organised, responsible and able to multitask.
• Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in social media, marketing or business support will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with designers and relevant departments on artwork, videos, promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
• Assist in creating simple social media content using Canva or other content creation tools.
• Monitor social media messages, comments and enquiries and coordinate responses where required.
• Keep social media platforms updated with the latest products, promotions, events, trainings and company activities.
• Assist in coordinating company events, trainings, promotions and business development activities.
• Liaise and coordinate with distributors, business partners and internal departments when required.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, notices and other Business Development materials.
• Conduct basic research on competitors, market trends and social media trends.
