Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements across manufacturing and business functions. You will translate requirements into clear specifications, analyze processes for optimization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand needs.

The role involves data analysis, dashboards, UAT coordination, and support for ERP/MES implementations. Strong English communication and multi-project management are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, IT, CS, Industrial Eng, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Data Analysis, Systems Analysis, or similar.
• Experience in MNC semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or technology environment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, data analysis, and process improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and preferably Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects or priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across manufacturing and business functions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs, processes, and system requirements.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering, HR, and IT teams to understand needs.
• Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations to support management decision-making.
• Support implementation, enhancement, and testing of ERP, MES, reporting, and business applications.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, issue tracking, validation, and implementation support.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, BRD, FRD, and user guides.
• Support data validation, system testing, and troubleshooting of business process or system-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, cost, quality, and data accuracy.
• Support project management activities for new system implementations and process improvement projects.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and other business-related tasks as assigned.

• Experience in project management and Agile methodology is an added advantage.
• Strong experience in preparing BRD, FRD, process flow diagrams, SOPs, and UAT documentation.
