A leading technology firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project lifecycles, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure project deliverables align with objectives. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, and at least 1 year of experience in a relevant field. Proficiency in project management tools like Jira and Agile methodologies is essential. Project Lifecycle Management
Lead project initiation, define objectives, scope, budget, and delivery standards, and create the Project Charter.
Plan the overall project process (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models), break down work packages (WBS), and allocate resources.
Monitor project execution, ensure progress aligns with the plan, address major deviations, and adjust strategies.
Team Management and Collaboration
Lead cross-functional teams (e.g., development, testing, design) by clarifying roles and responsibilities, and motivate members for efficient collaboration.
Resolve team conflicts, optimize communication mechanisms, and improve overall execution efficiency.
Risk Management and Decision-Making
Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks, develop contingency plans, and lead issue resolution.
Make decisions on key milestones (e.g., requirement changes, technology selection), balancing quality, cost, and time.
Resource and Budget Control
Develop project budgets, monitor actual expenditures, and control cost overruns.
Coordinate human resources, software/hardware resources, and third-party vendors to ensure proper resource allocation.
Quality and Delivery Management
Define acceptance criteria for deliverables, organize stage reviews (e.g., requirement reviews, UAT testing).
Ensure final deliverables meet customer or business objectives, and address any issues until closure.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
Regularly report project progress to senior management and clients, manage stakeholder expectations, and gain support.
Coordinate client requirement changes (CCB process), and ensure contract and SLA compliance.
