Job summary

Edmund Tie & Company in Subang Jaya seeks a proactive Building Manager to lead a team of building and management staff. You will communicate progress to JMC/MC members, inspect M&E matters, and liaise with residents and tenants on day-to-day issues.

You will review M&E and non-M&E contracts, coordinate with contractors, manage security and maintenance, and oversee budgets and AGM preparations. Requires 2–3 years in building/facilities management and strong leadership and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Property Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in building management or facilities management.
• Knowledge of M&E systems and building operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of building and management staff.
• Communicate and update JMC/MC members on relevant progress during meetings.
• Inspect M&E matters within the building.
• Liaise with building residents and tenants on day-to-day operational issues.
• Review M&E and non-M&E contracts and prepare technical reports.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external parties on building issues.
• Coordinate and manage general building security, safety, maintenance, and welfare of occupants.
• Ensure all equipment and systems comply with relevant by-laws.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of building facilities.
• Monitor collection and credit control for Building Maintenance and Sinking Fund Accounts.
• Control maintenance budget.
• Arrange for AGM
