Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified engineer (preferably electrical) with at least 5 years' experience in maintenance within shopping centres or business complexes. The role emphasizes independent multitasking, strong analytical skills, and clear communication across all levels.

Physical fitness and hands-on teamwork are essential. The candidate should be able to handle ad-hoc tasks outside the main scope and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure smooth operations and maintenance of

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in engineering (preferably in Electrical) or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 5 years working experience in similar field.
• Experience in shopping centres or business complexes will be an added advantage.
• Independent (multitasking) and possess good analytical skills.
• Able to handle ad-hoc tasks outside my main job scope
• Able to communicate clearly to any levels of people.
• Physically fit to carry out the job as hands-on is needed
• Be able teamwork within the team and other departments

Responsibilities

• Assist in manage a maintenance team on maintaining and upkeep all civil works i.e. internal and external structure, any temporary structure or protection and hoarding when necessary.
• Assist in supervises issues relating to all M&E and tenant’s compliance.
• Coordinates with inter-departments on store’s upgrading works and tenants’ fit-out works.
• Coordinates and supervises works that carry out by contractors.
• Assist in schedule daily work for technician team.
• Execute or perform any task or assignment that may be assigned by the Manager
• Always respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
