Job summary

Benefit Cosmetics in Malaysia is seeking a Beauty Advisor, also known as Brow Expert, to join our Kuala Lumpur team. You will be trained and certified in brows, facial waxing, and makeup application, while building a loyal customer base.

You will demonstrate and sell makeup services, engage customers face-to-face, maintain store presentation, and host occasional workshops. The role requires energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (spoken & written).
• Strong retail sales and/or service history.
• Comfortable in face-to-face engagement.
• Basic makeup application knowledge.
• An aesthetician or waxing license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate makeup products and services.
• Market and sell brand’s products and services.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers as well as store managers and cast members.
• Engage customers in a productive discussion to address skin concerns.
• Perfectly identify customer’s skin condition and recommend the right products.
• Host/Organize occasional workshops or parties for customers’ engagement.
• Perform only Benefit approved and trained services offered on service menu to Benefit quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Arrange appointments for return services.
• Ensure that top selling stock are not facing low or out of stocks issues; shelves are fully stocked at all time.
• Ensure personal bow bar areas are always at tip top condition, communicate maintenance issues to counter manager/sales manager.
• Adhere to hygiene standards of the brand.
• Ensure that the Benefit uniform is worn and full make up is always applied during work hours.

Being a Beauty Advisor a.ka. Brow Expert in the company, you will be trained and certified on the unique skillset of brows & facial waxing on top of having the best knowledge on make-up application techniques, tips & tricks as well as be exposed to a wide range of make-up products. A Brow Expert will also be able to build up their own base of regular customers to ensure that you have a constant flow of customers.
