Job summary

Projek Bestari Construction Sdn Bhd in Selangor seeks a site-based Civil Engineer to coordinate bridge construction projects. You will supervise subcontractors, manage daily site activities, and ensure works align with drawings, specs and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in reinforced concrete and infrastructure works, good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years of contractor-side experience in bridge construction, reinforced concrete structures or infrastructure works.
• Hands-on, safety-conscious, organised and accountable.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work full-time on site.
• Previous experience on Gamuda, TNB or PGB projects is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily site activities, subcontractors, manpower and materials.
• Supervising piling, pile caps, formwork, reinforcement and concreting.
• Ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinating with Gamuda Engineering, PGB representatives, consultants and relevant stakeholders on inspections, approvals, pipeline protection requirements and permit-to-work procedures.
• Preparing progress reports, tracking the construction programme and resolving site issues proactively.
