Job summary

TOP POT BAKERY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a bakery production staff to prepare breads and pastries, including doughs, fillings, proofing and baking, with decorating where appropriate.

You will ensure high quality product output, operate baking equipment safely, follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures, and be ready to lift heavy items as part of daily duties; fresh graduates are welcome to apply and training is provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in culinary arts.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends & public holidays.
• Willing to learn and cope with fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads and pastries including doughs, fillings, proofing, baking and decorating.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely use baking equipment and tools/equipment.
• Follow food safety handling policies and personal hygiene procedures.
• Lift heavy items for extended periods.
• Read and follow recipes.
• Ensure proper storage of baking utensils.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior.

Job description

• Prepare breads / pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
• Ensure production of good quality products.
• Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
• Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
