Job summary

VML in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Key Account Representative to service agency and client accounts, maintain relationships, and work with the Account Director on marketing initiatives.

The role emphasizes budget oversight, cross-functional collaboration with the creative team, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations. A BA/BS and 3–5 years agency experience are preferred, with a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum three to five years’ experience within an advertising agency or related industry.
• Hybrid work approach with teams in the office an average of four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell Agency thinking and work to clients.
• Manage day-to-day client services and ensure deliverables are met.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate with senior management.
• Collaborate with Account Director to develop long- and short-term marketing initiatives.
• Monitor competition and advise on appropriate responses/actions.
• Work with Creative team to ensure strategy alignment and quality of work.
• Manage overall account budget and profitability.
• Support other duties as assigned.
