Formulate and execute EBC’s global brand communication strategy; maintain relationships with high-end media to enhance the brand's industry leadership and voice.
Expand and maintain partnerships with top tier domestic and international financial media, as well as industry-vertical media, securing partnerships with ≥10 high-end media outlets annually.
- Crisis PR Management :
Establish a crisis PR response mechanism to ensure the activation of crisis response workflows within the golden 4-hour window; design public opinion monitoring and early-warning solutions.
- Cross-Regional Collaboration :
Coordinate with the Kuala Lumpur PR team and regional PR leads to ensure global alignment across all PR initiatives.
- Brand Protection & Defense :
Draft and issue official statements in instances of brand infringement; liaise with
platform legal teams to handle copyright infringement and takedown requests.
- Brand Partnership Evaluation:
Manage brand partnership projects, tracking and evaluating ROI to ensure a return on investment of ≥2:1.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
- Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in brand communication, public relations, or media relations.
- Prior experience in the financial industry or with international/multinational brands is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and copywriting skills.
- Deep familiarity with mainstream communication methodologies and an extensive network of media resources.
- Keen insight into trending topics and robust crisis management capabilities.
- Strong project management skills and cross-functional team collaboration ability.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Mandarin and English with strong cross-cultural communication skills."We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers."
- Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points): Existing network/resources with international financial media.
