Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks a results-driven sales professional to sell insurance products to customers and small businesses via phone and email. You will identify customer needs and take action to contribute to business development and the enhancement of Zurich's products, services, and processes.

You will act as the primary entry point for customers, resolve and/or escalate issues, and ensure service delivery meets expectations across the customer journey, including

Qualifications

• Sells propositions to new and existing clients.
• Resolves customer issues and oversees service delivery to ensure satisfaction at all stages (claims, invoicing).
• Demonstrates strong customer interaction skills and understands customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Sells the organization's propositions to new and existing clients.
• Acts as the entry point for customers into Zurich, ensuring a positive customer experience and escalating issues as needed.
• Identifies customer needs and advises on propositions; cross-sell where appropriate.
• Ensures quotations are issued promptly and accurately, maintaining data integrity in systems.
• Adheres to local standards and processes while supporting marketing campaigns and product/service enhancements.
• Collaborates with other units and participates in projects as needed.

Job purpose

To sell insurance products to customers and small businesses on the phone and over email, identifying customer needs and taking action accordingly to contribute to the development of business and enhancement of the organization's products, services, and processes

Key Accountabilities

• Sells the organization's propositions to new and existing clients.
• Acts as the customers point of entry into the Zurich organization takes responsibility for the customer experience with Zurich, resolving and or escalating their issues and keeping oversight of service delivery to the customer to ensure service expectations are fulfilled at all stages of the process (e.g. claims, invoicing).
• Shows good understanding of the customer needs and applies advanced customer interaction skills.
• Identifies customer needs and advises on propositions suggests additional offerings to existing clients (crossselling).
• Makes sure that quotations are issued (eventually with the help of a customer service team) promptly and in an accurate manner maintains data integrity within relevant systems.
• Shows expected sales behavior while fully adhering to local organization standards and processes.
• Supports specific marketing campaigns provides input and actively contributes to the enhancement of the organization's products, services and processes.
• Works closely with other organizational units, provides training and participates in projects as appropriate.
