Job summary

GT MART Sdn Bhd is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to oversee daily branch performance and ensure efficient, policy-compliant operations.

You will manage cash flow, expenses, sales records, and stock, support merchandising, and maintain high customer service levels. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required, and own transport is preferred.

This role requires a diploma in retail or business, 2–3 years FMCG experience, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Diploma in retail management, business administration or equivalent.
• 2–3 years experience in FMCG retail.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations and ensure efficient performance.
• Manage cash flow, operating expenses, sales records, and financial transactions.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures, admin tasks, and operational controls are in place.
• Monitor promotions, pricing, product displays, stock replenishment, inventory control, and market trends to maximize sales.
• Ensure accurate stock during loading/unloading of goods.
• Provide and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Monitor stock counting, store standards and outlet daily operations.
• Compile reports and submit to management.
• Recognize sales opportunities and upsell or cross-sell where appropriate.
• Handle other ad-hoc tasks.

Job description

Overseeing the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficient and effective business performance.

Manage and monitor the branch's cash flow, operating expenses, sales records, and financial transactions in accordance with company policies.

Ensure the smooth execution of daily branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, administrative functions, and operational controls.

Support merchandising initiatives by monitoring promotions, pricing strategies, product displays, stock replenishment, inventory control, and market trends to maximize sales performance.

Responsible to ensure accurate stock during loading and unloading goods.

Provide and maintain high level of customer service.

Responsible on stock counting, store standards & outlet's daily operation.

Compiling reports and submit to management.

Recognize sales opportunities when dealing with customers and be able maximize the sales by upsell or cross selling items.

Other ad-hoc tasks related.

Requirements:

At least Diploma in retail management, Business Administration or any equivalent field.

Experience minimum 2-3 years in FMCG retail industry.

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.

On shift basis. Must be willing to work during weekends and public holidays.

Possess own transport.

Hardworking, discipline and punctual to work.

Healthy and able to assist on physical tasks.
